Claru collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, migraine logs (symptoms, triggers, severity, medications), sleep and exercise data, and any notes you enter. If you enable location services, we collect your location to provide weather-correlated migraine insights.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide personalized migraine tracking and prediction services
- Generate AI-powered insights and risk forecasts
- Create doctor-ready PDF reports
- Improve our AI models and prediction accuracy
- Send notifications and reminders you've configured
3. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Sensitive tokens are stored in encrypted secure storage. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your health information.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your health data. The Claru app uses Mixpanel for product analytics, AppsFlyer for attribution, and RevenueCat for subscription and payment processing. Those providers may process device, usage, attribution, and transaction information needed to provide their services. App-store purchases are also handled under the privacy terms of Apple or Google.
5. Website Analytics and Advertising
On this website, Google Analytics helps us understand visits and site use, Meta helps us measure advertising campaigns, and AppsFlyer helps with campaign attribution and app-download links. We keep these non-essential services off unless you select “Accept analytics” in our privacy choices. If enabled, these providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral information, and interactions with the site. We do not intentionally send migraine logs or information entered in the app to these website analytics services.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” button at the bottom of the website. Declining or withdrawing consent does not prevent you from using the website. Your choice is stored in your browser so we can remember it.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Export all your data as JSON at any time
- Delete all your data permanently
- Delete your account entirely
- Decline or withdraw consent for website analytics and advertising services
7. Voice Data
When you use voice input, audio is sent to our servers for transcription. Audio recordings are deleted immediately after transcription is complete. Only the extracted text data is stored.
8. Retention and International Processing
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide Claru, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and service. Our providers may process information in countries outside your own under the safeguards described in their privacy terms.
