Migraine Food Diary: A Low-Pressure Way to Find Patterns
A useful food diary does not accuse every meal. It captures timing, combinations, sleep, stress, and symptoms over time so you can notice patterns that repeat.
Keep the diary practical
- Meal time and broad food combination
- Long gaps, hydration, and caffeine
- Sleep, stress, cycle, or weather context
- Symptoms in the following 24 hours
If you suspect a strong food pattern, discuss it with a clinician or registered dietitian before making major restrictions.
